An Unusual Take On Real Estate Photography

I recently discovered the interestingly-named Stockholm (Sweden) real estate broker firm Fantastic Frank. While one might feel that the name is a tad, I don’t know, hokey? Silly? Odd?, they have some really great listings, and what I like most of all is the unusual and very cool photography.

They hire film and fashion stylists and photographers for these shoots, and the result is a mix of “close-to-regular” real estate photos with gorgeous natural light, fun shots with people, and stylish closeups of pretty details. Such a great way to get a prospective buyer’s imagination going. You can really see yourself living in that space; you start picturing yourself with a cup of coffee on a balcony, in the kitchen with your purchases from the Farmer’s market, or in front of an easel working on your art.

Take a look:

For the shoot below, they got Peter Bjorn and John to perform “Young Folks” in the living room!
